London seen from Paris

I am grateful to la petite anglaise for drawing to my attention this poster from the Paris Metro. Love-starved Parisians are being encouraged to flock to London to enjoy the aphrodisiac effects of a Great British Fry-up.

    Are we to believe that the phrase “French letter” should now be “French poster”?

    Mon cher Jacques: I thought you guys called it “une capote anglaise” – tant pis – il semble que quand vous vouliez baiser, il faut aller en angleterre.

    Ecoutant ce que lui dit la belle,
    Le bleu l’étendit sur son lit.
    Et se couchant tout nu sur elle,
    Dans son petit trou, il mit son vit.
    Le bleu déchargeant,
    Dit en gémissant :
    “Au diable la capote anglaise,
    Et tous les conseils de Papa.
    C’est bien meilleur lorsqu’on baise,
    Enlacé dans d’aussi beaux bras.”
